We are a 42 place day nursery which opened in 2003 situated in historic Walmgate which is only a short walk from the city centre. The building is several hundreds of years old but has been converted to form a modern day care facility that meets all requirements and yet has character and a nice homely feel.

We have three separate rooms which accommodate three separate age ranges. A baby room for ages from 3 months to 2 years, a 2-3 years room and a pre-school room for children from 3-5 years. The ratio of staff to children within the nursery is in accordance with the 1989 children act. We employ qualified and experienced staff.

At Walmgate Day Nursery we aim to provide the best quality childcare in a stimulating and caring environment. We are open 8am-6pm, 51 weeks of the year except Bank Holidays.
